Are you tired of overthinking everything or feeling stuck in your own head? Do you second-guess yourself, struggle to say no, or feel distant from others? Are your emotions overwhelming, as if there's no 'off' switch?

Take Heart Christian Counseling offers individual therapy rooted in evidence-based practices and compassionate care—through a biblical lens. You can experience real change in your life!

Imagine being able to express your feelings clearly, set healthier boundaries with others, and notice your body’s red flags before stress takes over.

Therapy could help you feel more present and connected with others, allowing you to build deeper, more meaningful relationships. It’s not about perfection or eliminating all challenges but finding practical, realistic ways to navigate life’s ups and downs with more peace and resilience.

Together, we’ll work toward your goals, helping you embrace a life that feels calmer, more balanced, and full of purpose.

HI, I’M LAUREN

I’m a licensed mental health counselor in Florida and Ohio. I work with people who feel stuck in anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional pain—even when they’re doing their best to keep things together on the outside.

If you’re considering therapy, you don’t have to have everything figured out. I work best with clients who are willing to show up honestly and engage in the process. I’m committed to being consistent, supportive, and active in our work together, helping you take realistic steps toward healing and lasting change.

In therapy, my goal is to help you move from where you are to where you want to be. We’ll take what feels heavy or overwhelming and turn it into clear, manageable steps so you can feel more peaceful, present, and hopeful about the future.
