I try my best to create a safe and welcoming space for my clients to process their struggles, while also taking an active and directive approach by providing practical tools and skills to promote healthy changes.

I am passionate about helping clients gain deeper self-awareness, especially when it comes to identifying and transforming unhelpful patterns in their lives.

Originally from Ohio, I earned a BA in Psychology (with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies) and an MA in Mental Health Counseling from Bowling Green State University. Over the years, I have gained valuable clinical experience in both community mental health and private practice settings. This includes facilitating Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) groups for individuals in recovery from alcohol and drug abuse, as well as working one-on-one with clients facing a variety of challenges.

I have both personal and professional experience in a range of areas including anxiety and depression, childhood trauma, grief and loss, pregnancy/postpartum concerns, relationship stressors, and life adjustment.

I’d be honored to listen to your concerns and help bring hope and clarity as you work toward your goals. My desire is for each client to leave counseling with a deeper understanding of themselves, a sense of relief from processing their past and emotions, and practical tools to navigate life more effectively.
