Boundary Concerns

If you often say yes to others at your own expense, we’ll work on fostering self-respect and assertiveness while exploring how to establish healthy boundaries that align with your values and faith.

Grief and Loss

Losing someone or something you love can leave a void that feels impossible to fill. I’m here to help you process your loss and find a way forward at your own pace.

Relationship Issues

Whether you’re navigating communication struggles or conflict with others, I can help you address this and move toward healthier connections.

These specialties are not separate services. Many of these areas often overlap and influence one another. While you may seek counseling for one or two specific concerns, it’s common to find connections to other areas as we work together. My goal is to address the whole picture, supporting your growth and healing in a comprehensive way.

Approaches

  • CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We’ll work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns and replace them truth and healthy thoughts and beliefs. This approach equips you with practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, and other struggles in your life.

  • MI is a collaborative, goal-oriented approach that helps you identify your internal motivation for change. Together, we’ll explore your values and addressing ambivalence, respecting your autonomy, and empowering you to take realistic steps toward changes you want to see in your life.

  • Attachment-based therapy focuses on understanding how early relationships, especially with parents and caregivers, influence your emotions, behaviors, and relationships today. By exploring these patterns, this approach helps you build healthier connections, develop trust, and address issues like insecurity or fear of abandonment.

  • This approach highlights your unique God-given strengths and abilities, using them as a foundation for growth. We won’t focus solely on problems— we will work together to build on what’s already working well in your life. With this approach, you’ll build confidence and resilience to help you tackle challenges.

  • This approach integrates Christian faith with evidence-based counseling techniques by incorporating biblical principles and beliefs along with your values to promote healing. It embraces the understanding that God meets us in our emotions with compassion, not condemnation.
